Why is this important?
Global leaders have been talking about climate change since the 1980's. Today we need action, not talk. The 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris is our last chance to take meaningful, concerted action to preserve our planet for future generations. If the talks do not end with concrete change in the world's energy policies, we will be heading for a global catastrophe. Our message to the leaders of the world is "Keep fossil fuels in the ground and finance a true transition to 100% sustainable energy by 2050." We want to let them know that we are watching and expect nothing short of this as a result of the Paris talks. We are asking our friends in the fashion industry to help raise awareness by joining together in a digital #ClimateCatwalk, symbolizing us all walking in the same direction towards a sustainable future.
