Why is this important?
Despite more than two decades of talking, our climate is at a crisis point because our leaders have allowed themselves to be captured by the fossil fuel industry. If our politicians are serious about climate change, then they need to stop taking money from and giving money to the big polluters.
How it will be delivered
We’ll be hosting an event at Brendan O’Connor’s office on Friday 20th May, 1pm, 13-15 Lake Street, Caroline Springs.
We'll have fake cash and will be asking people to choose where they’d rather have the government invest our money, such as in our Health and Education. Some of us will be dressing up to represent the areas we believe deserve government funding, so feel free to get creative! You could wear a lab coat to represent a doctor, or even a Harry Potter outfit to represent education!
